Enormous, mysterious blob from the sea washes up on beach
The Loch Ness Monster might not 'technically' exist, but now there's a new, deeply strange, sea creature in town.
On Thursday, a 13-foot, unidentified blob from the sea washed up on a beach in Acapulco, Mexico. Scientists are currently trying to identify what, exactly, this mysterious creation is.

Some scientists believe the creature to be a whale, and others a squid. Randoms from the Internet think it's a "terrifying monster." Researchers are still investigating.
The creature appears to have died shortly before beachgoers discovered it. Though it was not fully decomposed, it was well on its way.
"We have no idea what type of animal this is, but I do know that it does not smell bad or have a fetid aroma," Rosa Camacho, coordinator of the Civil and Fire Brigade, told 24 Horas.
We may never discover whether its a squid or a whale, but there's one thing we do know -- it's coming to destroy us all.
Happy Friday!
