These 'double jeans' are basically an optical illusion that'll cost you $695
Dear denim designers: can u not.
Seriously though, what on earth is going on with jeans lately? First they tried to sell us fake mud jeans for $425. Then they tried to make detachable cut-out jeans happen. And, now they want us to get on board with the "double jeans" look.
What in the name of all that is holy are "double jeans"? Well, apparently for some jeans designers one waistband just isn't enough. The clever folks at London fashion house Natasha Zinko sewed on an extra waistband onto what is essentially just an average pair of jeans. (One you'd probably never wear though, to be perfectly honest.)
This high-fashion creation can be yours a whopping $695 (£518.33 if you're a UK customer).
Just look at that sexy double waistband:
From the back, the double waistband looks even weirder.
Though you may find it hard to believe, these jeans have just sold out on ShopBop.com. Yep, people have actually bought these.
Fashion, amirite?
