If you're looking for some stinkin' fun plans this Good Friday, you're in luck.

The Isle of Wight Zoo in the UK announced on Tuesday that it will be opening a museum devoted to poo on March 25.

The National Poo Museum will celebrate that smelly, sometimes glorious but usually all-around disgusting thing we call poop.

A spokeswoman told the Isle of Wight County Press “It’s stinky, unpleasant and sometimes dangerous stuff — but it’s all around us and inside us too — and perhaps surprisingly our planet would be a much poorer place without it.”

The museum "is set to be the place to immerse oneself in the wonder of excrement while finding out lots of extraordinary nuggets of information about all things poo-y, kids will love it!” the spokeswoman said

We agree it's high time we stop treating poop so crappy and give it some recognition.

Artist Eccleston George has been updating us via Twitter about the museum.

The museum will feature relics such as freeze-dried poo, poop hanging from the ceiling and poop from various different species like meerkats, foxes, cows, owls and even human babies.

There will even be a 38 million-year-old fecal specimen -- holy sh*t, right?
