Optimistic hero tries to save flooded street one bucket full of water at a time

That was the thinking of one Florida person who tried to save his street from the perils of flooding. He looked at a very flooded street, and decided to empty it out with a bucket, growing more and more upset at how little his efforts seemed to matter.

Across the street, a passionate neighbor caught it all in a series of Snapchat videos. The documentation contains quite the story arc, from a stalwart hero, to dark night of the soul, to a very modern cliffhanger ending.

After a couple of attempts, the Florida hero gets tired. All he can do is stare at the water and think, "I'm gonna need a lot more buckets."
