Neil deGrasse Tyson is known for being a wise astrophysicist, cosmologist, author... and very opinionated Twitter user.

Naturally, the man had many thoughts and feelings about Earth Day, so he strapped on his Kanye West Twitter fingers and began schooling us all.

Tyson offered ample warning by kicking off the tweetstorm with a straightforward declaration:

From there he went on to discuss Earth Day history, update us on the moon's plans for this year's Earth Day and make mind-blowingly profound statements like, "Earth feels big because we're little" and "We're short so mountains seem tall."

In true Tyson fashion, he went on to make more exceptionally unique comparisons and references that no one but Tyson would even dream of coming up with.

Tyson then got very existential and came to ponder how "odd" it is that Earth Day even exists at all.

Overall, this has been another out of this world Twitter rant by the master of time and space.
