Neil Patrick Harris is not here for hateful commentary.

Actor James Woods shared a photo on Twitter Monday of a family at the Orange County Pride Parade in California. In the photo, the parents hold up signs that read "I love my gender creative son!" and "My son wears dresses and makeup...Get over it!"

Woods commented, "This is sweet. Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you've done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage."

It didn't take long for the backlash to against his thoughtless words to rain down. But the most notable reaction was from Harris who knows the family in the photo.

Lori Duron, the mother in the picture, shared the image on Instagram weeks earlier, stating that Pride was a wonderful experience for her 10 year old, CJ.

Woods' mean-spirited comments obviously go against everything Pride month is about, and it's comforting to know others do not stand for this hate.

Keep up the good work, NPH.
