Netflix is down, and the entire internet is upset

Netflix users hoping to get their fill of weekend content were stalled on Saturday afternoon after the company experienced a major service disruption.

"Hi all - we are aware of streaming issues and we are working quickly to solve them," read the statement from Netflix on Twitter at 4:30 p.m. ET. "We will update you when they are resolved."

Meanwhile, many Marvel fans who were hoping to binge the new Marvel Luke Cage series are raging on social media as Netflix scrambles to get its service back up.
