Netflix's zero-tolerance stance on sexual abuse allegations is coming into question.

The Huffington Post reported Monday on a conversation between a woman who has accused Danny Masterson, star of Netflix show The Ranch, of raping her; and an executive at the company, who were at the same youth soccer game over the weekend. When the woman confronted the executive, director of global kids content Andy Yeatman, he told her that he and other Netflix higher-ups "don't believe" the accusers – without knowing that she was one.

Masterson continues to be under a year-long investigation by the LAPD and Los Angeles County District Attorney, after four women have come forward to say he drugged and raped them, accounts that go back to 2000. Netflix has known about the allegations since at least March, but have yet to act.

Masterson has denied any wrongdoing, claiming the encounters were consensual and insisting that as a Scientologist, he is forbidden from using any drugs. Three of his alleged victims were also members of Scientology, which strictly disallows members from filing police reports against one another.

While Netflix immediately fired Kevin Spacey in light of sexual harassment and assault allegations against the House of Cards star, the company has remained silent on Masterson.

HuffPo says the woman ran into Yeatman at kids' soccer game in Los Angeles, where their kids were playing against one another. Without identifying herself as a Masterson accuser, she said she asked Yeatman why nothing was being done.

She said Yeatman said Netflix takes the allegations seriously, but "we don't believe" the four accusers.

"I’m one of them," she said she replied.

Later, Yeatman approached her again to explain himself. She responded through tears that, "I hope no one ever says that to your daughter," continuing with her assertion that Masterson's accusers were telling the truth and that "Netflix is going to regret this, this is a mistake, they’re going to see."

The woman and witnesses to the exchange said Yeatman's response was, "We'll see."

Netflix acknowledged that the conversation took place, but denies that Yeatman said "We'll see." A representative at Netflix confirmed the accuracy of the company's statement to HuffPost:

“While he was coaching a youth soccer match today, Mr. Yeatman ― a Netflix kids’ programming executive ― was approached by a stranger who did not identify herself or explain her connection to Danny Masterson,” the statement read. “Mr. Yeatman’s comments were careless, uninformed and do not represent the views of the company. Further, he would have no insights into decision making on The Ranch. We are aware of the allegations against Danny Masterson and we are following the current investigation, and will respond if developments occur.”

A representative for Masterson did not immediately respond to messages left for comment.
