Netflix just announced its festive 2020 holiday streaming lineup

’Tis the season for streaming.

Netflix just dropped its list of new releases arriving just in time for the 2020 holiday season. From late October through December, you'll be able to celebrate the most wonderful time of year by watching dreamy romances, spirited musicals, and festive baking shows.

Go on a Holidate with Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey in this Christmas romcom; Search for magic with Forest Whitaker and Keegan-Michael Key in family musical Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey; Or get twisted up in a royal romance with Vanessa Hudgens in The Princess Switch: Switched Again sequel. You can also get a backstage look at Elf and Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas in The Holiday Movies That Made Us or get a sugar rush by watching the new season of The Great British Baking Show: Holidays.

Who wants to go on a Holidate?

In this Christmas romcom, Sloane (Emma Roberts) and Jackson (Luke Bracey) realize they're tired of being the only single people at holiday gatherings. So after meeting one another during a season that's going terribly downhill, they decide to become each other's permanent plus-ones for all the upcoming celebrations. It's not long, however, before their platonic relationship begins fading into a romantic one.

Holidate's trailer is full of all the delightful, cheesy goodness we've come to expect from these holiday releases. So as long as the film follows through on all the silly fun it promises, we're sure it'll make for the perfect wintery watch.
