A docuseries titled Heart of Invictus will be the first program from Netflix's partnership with Archewell Productions, the production company founded by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Heart of Invictus will follow a group of athletes as they prepare for the 2022 Invictus Games at the Hague. The Duke of Sussex has been a patron of the Invictus Games, which offer prestigious adaptive competitions for injured veterans of various global militaries, since their founding in 2014.

"This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year," Prince Harry said in a press release.

In September 2020, Netflix announced that the streaming service had signed a multi-million dollar deal with Archewell Productions, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's production company, to create films and television series as an extension of the couple's charitable and humanitarian interests. A statement from the couple at the time said that Archwell would "focus on creating content that informs but also gives hope," and that documentaries, scripted shows, feature films, and children's programming were all on the table for future programming.

As of this announcement there is no telling when exactly Heart of Invictus will premiered on Netflix, nor is there any information on other projects coming from Archewell's partnership with Netflix, but with the Duke and Duchess' willingness to tackle topics few royals have attempted to discuss, Archewell will remain a Netflix partner to watch in the years to come.
