President-elect Donald Trump isn't letting his new job get in the way of blasting people on Twitter.

On Sunday morning, he directed his ire at the New York Times.

The problem with Trump's claim? According to the Times, the publication isn't losing subscribers -- it's gaining them at a rapid pace, both digital and print.

Trump also claimed the New York Times published an apology for its coverage of him.

In fact, the letter from Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger simply said "let's pause for a moment on those famous instructions that Adolph S. Ochs left for us: to cover the news without fear or favor."

It did not apologize for how it covered the Trump campaign, during which the candidate threatened to sue media organizations at least 11 times.

In February, he claimed he was "going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money. We’re going to open up those libel laws."
