Newt Scamander Funkos are here and they're adorable
If your first thought after seeing the Fantastic Beasts trailer was, "Newt Scamander is adorable and I want to take him home!" then you're in luck.
Sort of.
Potter news hub and Ilvermorny home Pottermore just announced a Newt Scamander Funko Pop! figure, debuting at this month's San Diego Comic-Con.

Like most Funko Pop! figures, Newt is incredibly adorable, with giant eyes and his own Hufflepuff scarf and magic suitcase (sadly without Eddie Redmayne's lips). And, exclusively at SDCC, Magizoologists in training can get a mini pack with a Cornish Pixie, a Mandrake and a Grindylow, creatures that will be familiar to any Harry Potter fan.
San Diego Comic-Con runs July 20-24, but soon after you'll be able to get your own tiny, bug-eyed Newt to keep you company until Fantastic Beasts hits theaters this November.
