Thanks to modern day automotive technology, there is now a new way to harmlessly prank your loved ones — backup cameras.

Backup cameras have moved from luxury technology on cars to a standard feature for drivers, which is great for consumers. It's also great for people who love to play pranks.

Redditor brittabean988126 decided to take advantage of her boyfriend's reverse camera by taping a photo of Nic Cage directly in front of the camera's view. So, when he popped his car into reverse, a terrifying photo of the internet's favorite actor is there, starring deep into the lens with all his creepiness.

The results are absolutely terrifying.

Be safe out there, motorists.
