Nick Young spawned one of the most legendary lowlights in NBA history back in 2014 when he preemptively celebrated a last-second shot that ended up not going in as expected.

This screenshot commemorating the moment honestly belongs in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Now behold the play in GIF form, because it's impossible to get enough.

Young is a talented scorer, but he's also gained a reputation as a bit of an airhead during his decade-long NBA career -- the play above being but one example.

The defending champion Golden State Warriors signed Young to a one-year deal on Wednesday in an effort to get some more scoring punch off the bench.

Minutes after news of Young's signing broke, Warriors star Kevin Durant welcomed him to the squad with a pitch-perfect tweet.

Meanwhile, this tweet by Young from 2016 looks just slightly awkward right about now.

Just more proof the internet never forgets -- or forgives.
