iOS 10 is here and it's pretty awesome.

If you're slightly skeptical about some of the operating system's features or simply reluctant to change, we've compiled nine awesome reasons why you should put your fears aside and download iOS 10 right now.

1. You can FINALLY delete those stock apps you never used

Finally, the days of hiding all those unused stock apps in a folder are gone.

Unlike previous software updates, iOS 10 allows you to easily "remove" Apple's built-in apps from your home screen, the same way you would delete any other app.

By touching and holding down the icon until it jiggles, you can now delete apps like Calculator, Calendar, Compass, iTunes Store, News, Stocks and Weather, among others.

Though removing built-in apps gives you the freedom to further personalize your Home screen, if certain apps are deleted they can affect other system functionalities.

Have no fear, you can always add them back.

2. You now have the power to turn words into emoji

Messaging just got a lot more fun. In addition to the new and updated emoji, iOS 10 comes with a fancy new feature which lets the emoji speak for themselves. This cool new keyboard function allows you to tap on words that correspond with emoji, such as "apple," "beach," "basketball," etc. and replace them with the actual emoji image.

3. You can send a bunch of cool stickers

Updated emoji aren't the only cool new visuals you can send on iOS 10. The update gives you easy keyboard access to GIFS and a whole bunch of exciting stickers, which can be downloaded in the App Store. Though some popular stickers like Disney, Pokémon Pixel Art, Star Wars, and Kimoji cost money to download, other amazing sticker packs like Super Mario Run are free and oh so necessary for messaging.

4. You can enlarge things with this neat magnifier tool

Forgot your glasses? No worries. Thanks to iOS 10 your phone's camera can easily be converted into a magnifying glass. Once enabled, the magnifying feature enlarges anything seen through your phone's camera lens

To enable the tool go to: Settings > General > Accessibility > Magnifier (then click the Home button three times in your camera to use).

5. There are new typing and locking sounds

If you're one of those iPhone users who always has your phone on silent, you might be missing out on the new iOS 10 keyboard and lock sounds. The update has slightly redesigned the infamous (and slightly obnoxious) keyboard and lock clicks, and some people find the new noise oddly satisfying.

6. Sharing web links got even easier

Somehow, iOS 10 has made the not-so strenuous action of copying and pasting web links even easier.

Rather than pressing on a link to copy and pasting it in the desired location, iOS 10 allows you to easily share links by long-pressing them.

Once you hold your finger on the link you wish to send, a new "Share" option will appear.

7. You can easily send music previews via Messages

Want to recommend an artist to a friend or give someone a quick preview of the song you've had on repeat for the last week? You're in luck. With iOS 10 you can send Apple Music previews of your recently played songs with the touch of a button.

8. Accessing your camera is ridiculously simple

With iOS 10, virtually no effort is required to access your camera. The latest software update has made snapping photos as simple as swiping left on your lock screen.

9. You can finally open the Camera app while playing music

Hallelujah! iOS 10 finally fixed one of the more irritating iPhone features -- the inability to simultaneously listen to music and open up the Camera app. In iOS 10, audio playback is now unaffected when the Camera app is enabled -- until, of course, video mode is activated.
