It's anywhere from two and a half hours to six, depending on the game.

In the run up to the Nintendo Switch full announcement, many questions remained.

One of those questions, and far from the least important, asked what the battery life would be like for a console that is meant to 'switch' between a home console and a portable handheld.

During Nintendo's Jan. 12 press conference, announcing the details of their new console, the big N revealed that the battery life of the Switch would vary wildly.

According to Nintendo's prepared video introducing the Switch, those who want to jump in on Nintendo's grand home/portable experiment can expect somewhere between two and a half to six hours in battery life.

This will all depend on the game, but they did not give any specifics as to which games would deplete the battery faster than others.
