Aside from the whole hybrid portable/home console deal, there's not a whole lot we knew about Nintendo's next console, the Switch. Fortunately tonight's presentation, which started at 11 p.m. ET, changed all that.

We received news of a release date, pricing and launch line-up and a few more details on how exactly this piece of technology works and what else it can do.

We'll be updating the site live with coverage from the stream, so if you prefer reading over watching, we've got you.
