"No Trump Anytime" signs have recently popped up in big cities across the United States, from Los Angeles to New York City.

Done up like traditional red and white "No Parking" signs, the artist known as Plastic Jesus (along with a few collaborators) nails his work next to actual authorized signs, probably causing more than a few double-takes.

"As an artist, as a street artist, I get my messages and opinions and feelings out there on the street," the artist told Mashable. "I think that if Trump gets elected in the U.S., it will have a devastating effect on so much we take for granted."

Pictures of the signs are all over social media, but you can print out your own, too.

The artist said he wasn't too surprised by the attention, given how much conversation and controversy has surrounded Trump since he announced his campaign nearly a full year ago.

That said, he got a little weirded out by all the love sent his way by fans of Texas Sen. and former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz. Plastic Jesus is not exactly in Cruz's corner.

But his fans will likely continue to diversify as his best-known work branches out into different subjects.

Last year, he generated some headlines when he plopped a cocaine-snorting Oscar statue on Hollywood Boulevard ahead of the Academy Awards.

He pulled off something similar a year before with a heroin-injecting Oscar statue, in an effort to call attention to what he said was a drug addiction problem among Hollywood's stars.
