It looks like the Northwestern football team, which won the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on Wednesday, has fully embraced New York City culture.

High-kicking in unison on the sidelines, Northwestern players paid homage to Radio City Music Hall's legendary dance company, The Rockettes.

The Wildcats look pretty good, but it's safe to say The Rockettes have them beat.

Northwestern's football players still need to work on their high-kicking game.

But as it turns out, Wildcats kicker Jack Mitchell — who notched four extra points and a three-point field goal — ended up being the difference maker in Northwestern's 31-24 win over Pittsburgh.

Mitchell can thank his teammates for the inspiration.
