Subtlety isn't this man's strongest suit.

In preparation for an upcoming trip to Europe, Reddit user Taherham got a shirt made to help him blend in amongst all those cultured Austrians and Brits.

It reads simply: "I am NOT American."

"My fiance and I are going to Europe this week. She told me a hundred times that we have to 'blend in' and not look American," he captioned a photo showing off his new duds.

"I completely agree... so I had this shirt made."

According to a comment of Taherham's on Reddit, the couple will be attempting to make people believe they aren't American in England, France, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

If the shirt goes over well with his fiancé, Taherham plans to wear a "This is my wife's day," shirt to their upcoming wedding.
