Red alert: Amazon just dropped a new record-low price on the M5 MacBook Pro ahead of Black Friday
SAVE $119: The brand new M5 MacBook Pro is on sale at Amazon for $1,480, down from the normal price of $1,599. That's the first real discount we've seen on this lightning-fast Apple laptop.
Early Black Friday deals are really making us wonder if the event is unofficially here. Amazon and Best Buy are packed with deals on some of 2025's best tech. But shockingly, there are some excellent Apple deals right now, including record lows on the new M5 models.
As of Nov. 13, the Apple MacBook Pro, 14-inch (M5, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD) is on sale at Amazon for $1,480, down from the normal price of $1,599. That's a 7% discount that shaves a nice $119 off the normal price. We've seen small discounts on this laptop, but this is the lowest price we've ever seen at Amazon, and the first time it's been over $100 off.
Mashable Tech Editor Timothy Beck Werth reviewed the new M5 MacBook Pro and awarded it a Mashable Choice Award. Upgrades on the M5 MacBook Pro included the new M5 chip, of course, with truly ridiculous levels of performance for professions, artists, creators, and even casual ga.mers. There's also a nice selection of ports, and we're still impressed with the Liquid Retina display that came with the 2024 version of the MacBook Pro.
