Mega Evolution and Phantasmal Flames is all the rage right now, to the point where the Scarlet and Violet era of Pokémon TCG is yesterday's news. But Destined Rivals has some of the best artwork of the last generation and you shouldn't be sleeping on it. Right now, trainers can grab a Destined Rivals Team Rocket Tin containing five booster packs for $42.94 at Amazon, which is $4 cheaper than TCGplayer's $46.98.

That means Amazon is below market value — a rare sight indeed.

Focusing on Team Rocket alongside Pokémon Gold and Silver's protagonist Ethan, Destined Rivals is the second Scarlet and Violet set carrying the trainer Pokémon torch alongside in Journey Together. The last time we saw these cards was back in the early 2000s Wizards of the Coast era, so there's plenty of nostalgia for long-time Pokémon trainers.

Unless I was planning on ripping open sealed products anyway like in my Phantasmal Flames review, I usually just find what my favorite cards are going for and buy them on the secondary market from eBay or TCGplayer. Is it because I don't like enjoying life in general? Maybe, but it usually ends up saving you a small fortune when you're looking for hard-to-pull chase cards. It's more money upfront, but you'll likely save money just getting the card straight up.
