President Obama will be remembered for many things, but his admiration and compassion for children is clearly the most adorable.

With the election season in full swing, the Internet decided to have a little break from the nonsense Saturday morning, using the hashtag #ObamaAndKids to share photos of POTUS with a variety of youngsters throughout his presidency.

It all started when activist Michael Skolnik shared a touching photo of young child admiring the nation's first black president. The photo was snapped by Pete Souza at a reception celebrating Black History Month.

Skolnik then asked the Internet to share their favorite photos of Obama with kids, and the world happily obliged.

Even Michelle Obama got in on the action.
