If former President Barack Obama's graying hair is any indication, eight years in the White House took a physical toll on him.

But now the Obamas are one-step closer to blissful restoration thanks to the fact that, according to a report from TMZ, the former first family is getting a pool.

Building permits reviewed by TMZ show that the Obamas will add an in-ground swimming pool (including "a terrace of sorts") to their extremely fancy $8.1 million Washington, D.C. mansion. Considering how humid D.C. gets in the summer, we're shocked it took them this long.

The Obamas are, by all accounts, an outdoorsy family. In 2017, pretty much five minutes after President Donald Trump took office, Barack was spotted kitesurfing with Richard Branson near the entrepreneur's private island. And in July, the family was spotted white-water rafting in Bali.

Next step: pool float shopping.
