Looking for a way to streamline your cleaning routine? You could hire a maid, but that's going to be pretty costly. And you could farm out cleaning tasks to the kids if you have them. But even better than both of these methods is using a robot vacuum and mop to save you some time while you handle other things. And thanks to this great deal from Amazon, you can get an excellent combo unit for the lowest sale price yet.

As of Oct. 15, get the iRobot Roomba Plus 405 Combo for $398.99, down from its usual price of $665. That's $266.01 off and a discount of 40%. It's also the lowest price we've seen.

This robot vacuum and mop combo is built for deep cleaning, with 70x of suction power to pull up tough dirt and debris from your carpet and old stains when mopping. It can handle pet messes, crumbs, spills, hair, and anything else you can think of by powering through everything like a hot knife through butter.

Thanks to its ClearView LiDAR setup, it can create a floorplan while cleaning your space so it knows which obstacles to avoid, when to mop instead of vacuum (it can switch between functionality automatically), and set up zones for it to stay in and out of. You can even use special Clean Zones to target specific messes and Keep Out Zones so your robot vacuum knows exactly where it belongs (and where it doesn't).

If you're tired of manually handling all of these tasks, maybe it's time to sit back, relax, and let the robots do everything, especially since you can save a ton of money right now by automating your cleaning routine. Ah, the future.
