Whilst everyone has their eyes on Mega Evolution / Phantasmal Flames and paying over the odds for new sealed product, I'm hunting down Black Bolt and White Flare deals on both sealed and single cards. Why? Because it's a fantastic set that brings a satisfying close to the Scarlet and Violet era of Pokémon TCG.
Every Unovan Pokémon from Black and White 1 and 2 either has an Illustration Rare, Special Illustration Rare, or an ever-illusive Black White Rare. This is such a lovely set to collect and build decks with, and it makes me wish there was more Illustration Rares in every set. Just imagine taking your 10 year old-self from the Wizards of the Coast days, battling in Pokémon Leagues in Warner Brothers stores and showed them any of the modern cards. They'd blow your fragile mind.
