Mega Evolution boosters and Phantasmal Flames preorders are taking over the Pokémon TCG community, but I think you should be looking at the last Scarlet and Violet expansion, Black Bolt and White Flare.

At a time where big box stores are selling sealed product over market value, it's worth knowing the secondary market value. TCGplayer isn't only keeping trainers informed, but the listings are putting Amazon to shame with the Pokémon TCG White Flare Booster Bundle at $51.99 at TCGplayer. That's compared to Amazon's price of $55. It's only a saving of $3.01, but that's money that's better off in your pocket.

Booster Bundles have six packs to rip open, nice and simple. You'll need as many packs to open as you can possibly get away with. This is a massive set, thanks to every Pokémon having a Illustration Rare or Secret Illustration Rare. That means it's going to be tough to pull the chase card you're seeking.

Or you could just pass on the game of chance and just buy the card outright. Yes, the top Black Bolt and White Flare cards are mega expensive, but you'd be surprised to hear that you'll probably save money long term over ripping open sealed product.
