SAVE 50%: As of Oct. 31, the Klipsch Reference R-121SW 12-inch Subwoofer is on sale for $324.99, down from $649.99, at Amazon. That's a 50% discount and a $325 price cut.

Your TV speakers are pretty terrible. (No shade; most TV speakers are.) A subwoofer is what you need to get that "at the movies" feeling, but they can be a pricey part of the setup. Fortunately, Amazon's already slashing prices on high-end audio in preparation for its Black Friday sales event.

As of Oct. 31, the Klipsch Reference R-121SW 12-inch Subwoofer is on sale for $324.99, down from $649.99, at Amazon. That's a 50% discount and $325 price cut. It's also the best price we've seen on this subwoofer since its release.

This sub is equipped with a 12-inch spun-copper woofer and a 400-watt all-digital amplifier. The cabinet itself is made of reinforced MDF and features a new bracing design specifically to reduce vibration, so you should hear deep bass, not a rattling box. On the back, you'll find the standard controls you need, like a low-pass crossover and phase control.

As for performance, reviewers are pretty enthusiastic. They're tossing around phrases like "rattles the walls" and "shakes the whole house," so if you live in a small apartment, this might not be the best investment for your neighbors.
