Badass 70-year-old lady makes epic 'guerrilla wood carvings' in the forest
LONDON -- Somewhere in the woods in Erith, London, there's a 70-year-old woman turning tree stumps into art.
The unnamed lady was spotted last week in Bursted Wood by Bexley resident Sam Jones, who took some photos of her carvings and shared them on Facebook group Shit London.

Jones told Mashable that she didn't ask how long each carving took the lady to complete, but judging by the tools she was using she would say it takes some time.

Writing on Facebook, Jones described the carvings as "really inspiring," and said the old lady was hoping to get some better tools for her birthday.
"She used to do wood carving at school she said and has only recently taken up again as she saw a tree that looked like a rat face so inspired her to carve it," Jones explained to Mashable. "That was her first carving!"
