A shockingly large number of Game of Thrones fans are thrilled with the outcome of the "Oathbreaker" episode.

Not for the return of a seemingly sane and functioning Jon Snow, nor for the highly anticipated flashback to the Tower of Joy. No, these fans are rejoicing because Olly, the lowly country boy and member of the Night's Watch, has died.

Casual fans will remember Olly as the tiny boy, orphaned after wildlings killed his family, who Jon Snow personally groomed for leadership. He killed Snow's GF Ygritte in an effort to protect him, and also helped to kill Snow after the latter allowed wildings to come through the gates of Castle Black.

It seems that a few thousand fans have been clamoring, begging, even petitioning for Olly's death in the time in between seasons. These sadistic fans are highly organized, extremely vocal and 13,000 strong in the FuckOlly subreddit.

While most of us were mourning Snow and hoping for his return, these fans were creating memes, mashup videos and gruesome fanfiction about Olly's demise.

In Sunday night's "Oathbreaker" episode, these fans got their wish, and Olly was hanged by order of the resurrected Lord Commander.

Suffice it to say, the vindictive community of anti-Olly fans rejoiced as if the White Walkers themselves had been vanquished.

Tweets, video remixes of the hanging and gleeful memes comparing Olly to Hitler were created, all declaring justice in Westeros.

Many fans asked for high quality screenshots from the episode to create new phone wallpapers and desktop backgrounds.

R.I.P Olly, you were apparently very despised.
