We're well past pretending that the Olympic Village isn't the best place for fit, attractive athletes to seek out and hook up with other fit, attractive athletes.

Rio Olympics organizers are well aware of this fact, judging by the massive 450,000-condom order meant for some of the 11,559 competitors who might require one-- or 12.

To put that in perspective, there are triple the amount of condoms available at the Rio Olympics than the 150,000 that were available at the London games, according to the Associated Press. This year's contraception offerings also include female condoms as well as 175,000 packets of lube.

The rubbers are available via convenient vending machines. And according to tweets from SB Nation's Rodger Sherman and NPR's Tom Goldman, there are employees tasked with carrying large sacks of free contraceptives around the Olympic park.

Naturally, Tinder has been popular among athletes at the Olympic Village-- the company reports that matches were up 129% last weekend. Hopefully the investment in contraception will have been worth it.
