The promo for Sunday's episode of Once Upon a Time promised us a heartbreaker, but we truly had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. By the end of the episode, we had two funerals, three dead and, of course, a twist.
Dead ... then alive
To keep things brief, the end of the episode saw the gang attending two funerals -- one for Capt. Hook (to be expected following last week's episode) and Robin, who had sadly been zapped by Hades in a horrible, tear-inducing scene.
Speaking of Hades, he was also killed, but not in a battle. He was killed at the hand of Zelena, who zapped her love after he attempted to lie about why Robin was lying dead on the floor.
Watching the two sisters mourn together was downright heartbreaking.
Back in Storybrooke, it was the land of glum faces as the gang gathered to pay respects to their fallen friends.
Emma mourned at Hook's grave first before joining the rest for a tribute to Robin, complete with arrow roses.
As the crowd dispersed, Snow hung back to be with her daughter, uttering words of comfort, but Emma asked her mom for a few minutes alone. That's when it happened: Hook appeared in the flesh.
Earlier, we'd seen him having what we assumed was a heavenly send-off from Zeus. But it seems Zeus, too, is on board with Captain Swan.

Yes, Emma and Hook were reunited and all was well with the world.
Oh, except that we have two very angry, sad, once-evil sisters on our hands.
Not to mention, a lot of broken Oncers to put back together.
