The battle is over, and a winner has been crowned.

After nearly two weeks of tweeting, promoting and voting, the readers of the Internet have chosen their favorite YA series of all time, our #OneTrueYA champion.

Though Sarah J. Maas' epic high-fantasy series Throne of Glass had a good showing, the winner is... The Maze Runner by James Dashner!

This post-apocalyptic dystopian saga -- which started with the titular The Maze Runner and led to two sequels and a prequel, with the second prequel on the way – has drawn fans worldwide before being adapted into a film in 2014. A heart-pounding epic, the books follow protagonist Thomas and his friends as they fight to survive against the elements and a mysterious organization that experiments on them in a world left devastated from a plague. And if this bracket has shown us anything, it’s the loyalty of Dashner’s MazeRunner fans.

Are you part of the Dashner Army? Or does your heart belong to another YA franchise? Let us know using #OneTrueYA, and remember that no matter who won the bracket, we all win by getting to read so many amazing epic stories from these fantastic authors.
