Dating app Hinge looked at 5,000 users who exchanged information within one day of initiating conversation. They determined what opening lines are more likely to get you a phone number, and which to avoid getting ghosted.
Being polite is the obvious answer, but a few simple phrases might either help or hinder your chances.
