There aren't many things better than a refreshing glass of cold milk in the summer heat -- except for a glass of cold milk and two brand-new Oreo cookie flavors.

Yes, the upstanding people at Nabisco have graced us with new iterations of their Oreo Thin cookie: the Lemon Crème and Chocolate Crème, both hitting grocery store aisles this month.

In case you want to enjoy them in a more grown-up way, the company teamed up with James Beard Award-winning chef John Besh and renowned pastry chef Kelly Fields to show off the possibilities.

Together they created the "OREO Thins 144 Cake," which layers chocolate mousse and Oreo Chocolate Crème Thins for a sophisticated desert with a center made from traditional Oreo cookies.

You can try to make it yourself or head to Fields' New Orleans restaurant, Willa Jean, where it will be on the dessert menu for a limited time.

If chocolate cake isn't your thing, you can also try a dessert made from the Lemon Crème cookie. The chefs created a dish called the Teeny Blini, a sophisticated way to experience the full flavors of the cookie with mascarpone and fruit.

"It's a nice, really light and textured and bright desert," Fields explained at a press event for the launch of the new Oreo Thins.

Fields kept the Louisiana summer heat in mind when creating the Teeny Blini.

"My idea with the desert is that it doesn't need to be sticky sweet, because you'll never enjoy that in New Orleans," Fields said.

If you're drooling, don't worry—you can get your hands on both flavors this June for $4.49.
