'Outlander' Season 3 trailer is agonizingly perfect
The first full trailer for Outlander Season 3 has arrived, and WE HAVE ALL THE FEELS.
The new footage begins with Claire and Frank's life together after she returns from the past, and the friction between them as they attempt to raise Claire and Jamie's daughter, Brianna, together.
We get to see Caitriona Balfe rocking a variety of fabulous '60s ensembles and hairdos in the footage, but no matter how fierce she looks, it's clear that she's still haunted by leaving Jamie behind.
"I want to know when you're gonna come back from the past," Frank demands, but thankfully for us, the answer is never -- it's not long before we see Claire, Brianna and Roger trying to figure out a way for Claire to return to her lost love.
Meanwhile, Jamie finds himself back in the custody of the British after the Battle of Culloden -- and the trailer gives us a first look at his unlikely new ally, Lord John Grey. Then there's a mystery woman (who won't be a mystery to fans of Diana Gabaldon's books) who gets to see him shirtless, and we won't even dive down that rabbit hole right now.
But the most thrilling moment of the trailer, at least for fans of Gabaldon's Voyager (on which Season 3 is based) comes after Claire succeeds in returning to the past, and makes her way to an iconic print shop belonging to a certain "A. Malcolm."
