This adorable note left on a tree by a 7-year-old will warm your heart
LONDON -- When you're younger, spending "your own money" on something is a big deal.
We don't know about you, but our pocket money typically went towards silly stuff like the latest Gameboy game (because '90s kids) or things with noxious levels of sugar.
Something to make the world a better place and improve the beauty of our communities?
Uh...
And yet it seems that some 7-year-olds could show us big kids a thing or two about community values. Meet Arrabella Cornelius, also known as Bella, or as London now knows her, the "guerrilla gardener":
Using her own money, Bella purchased a tree that she and dad, Neil, planted on busy Oxford Street in the middle of the night for all to enjoy:
A note left on the tiny tree tells how it came to be, much to the delight of passers-by:

Bella's dad posted a video to Instagram that shows the 7-year-old selecting the tree. In the caption, he reveals, "Bella and I replaced a tree that some wally had pulled out of the ground (yes i must be mad)."
The pair has also planted sunflowers and a tomato plant in what seems to be an ongoing effort to brighten the whole of Westminster:
