An upcoming coloring book is being marketed as, "not for the faint of heart." You won't be surprised by who's writing it.

It's by Chuck Palahniuk, author of Fight Club, who's well known for writing stories disturbing enough to make his listeners faint during readings. Now Palahniuk is taking that style into the world of adult coloring books (a world that's growing surprisingly large) with Bait: Off-Color Stories for You to Color.

The black and white images will feature things slightly removed from normal coloring book fare, such as a dog taking a dump on a Hollywood star. According to a press release from publisher Dark Horse Books, the 50 illustrations will accompany eight new stories from Palahniuk, dog included.

"Bait is a book about contrast," Palahniuk said to Mashable. "It's grown-up stories told in a child's medium. About parents who are bested by their kids. Guardians who, despite their good intentions, create havoc."

Palahniuk continues: "Readers will agonize over choosing the ideal color for Prometheus' liver and how suntanned to make Tennessee Williams at the moment of his death."

Currently, Bait is slated to release in bookstores and comic stores on Oct. 26, just before Halloween. And it's probably not for your child, if that wasn't already clear.
