Papa Roach is tweeting song lyrics at Trump. Is this our last resort?

Cut Twitter into pieces.

It's 2019 and Papa Roach has the funniest tweet of the day.

The angsty rock band whose songs you probably listened to while brooding in the early 2000s decided to pay some mind to politics and tweet their very own lyrics at President Trump.

On Monday, Papa Roach quote tweeted Trump's "NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION, TOTAL EXONERATION. DEMOCRAT WITCH HUNT!" tweet from Saturday and added some famous lyrics from their 2000 hit "Last Resort." They made quite the parody track.

For those of you somehow unfamiliar with the iconic 2004 anthem, the lyrics are to "Last Resort" are originally written, "Cut my life into pieces/ This is my last resort/ Suffocation/ No breathing/ Don't give a fuck if I cut my arm, bleeding."

If you listen to the track, you'll see Trump's "NO COLLUSION, NO OBSTRUCTION, TOTAL EXONERATION. DEMOCRAT WITCH HUNT!" rant fits in quite nicely. It's seamless, really! Good call, Papa Roach.

Fans of the rock band and a good old fashioned Twitter troll found the unexpected addition to political Twitter discourse delightfully humorous. Many even praised the musical group for bringing "Last Resort" back into their lives.

While it's nice to see people reconnecting with Papa Roach again, it's worth noting that Twitter user @idlewildgirl tweeted the same lyrics in response to Trump's tweet on Saturday. Her tweet received more than 45,000 likes, so it's definitely possible that Papa Roach saw it and... stole it. *GASP* If that's the case, ya gotta give credit where credit's due, Papa. Not cool.

If Trump wanted to come out on top of this epic troll, he might respond with other some Papa Roach lyrics, like, "My weakness is that I tweet too much. And my scars remind me that the Witch Hunt is real," but he probably has not heard a Papa Roach song.

Perhaps his daughter Ivanka, who claims she once had a "punk phase," could help him out.
