Full-size paper golden Lamborghini commissioned, then set on fire
Talk about bling in the afterlife.
Behold this 1:1 paper model of a golden Lamborghini that is going viral.
The Lamborghini -- made by 26-year-old Lin Zhao Wei -- was created for Qing Ming, a three-day Chinese festival where people burn paper offerings to their ancestors, believed to receive the gifts in the afterlife.
Lin made the Lamborghini with the help of a friend, who helped with the computer design work. Both of them took a month to complete the paper supercar, according to the Sin Chew Daily.
The car was set ablaze in a Penang cemetery.
The car is hardly the first luxury item to be made for the festival. Common offerings include paper iPhones, and mini replicas of mansions -- but it's not often you see such a large item recreated.
Lin reportedly works out of his house and only accepts preorders. He's previously made a Porsche and a vintage car.
"I also received orders for superbikes, yachts, aeroplanes and bicycles," Lin said.
