Look out Michael Scott, the search is on for Scranton, Pennsylvania's newest regional manager.

On Thursday, Twitter user Owen Taylor noticed quite the intriguing job listing on the career site Brad Traverse Jobs.

Turns out, Democratic Senator Bob Casey's Scranton office is looking for a regional manager — something any fan of the NBC comedy The Office would surely appreciate.

Anyone who's seen The Office knows that Steve Carell's character Michael Scott was the regional manager. He ran Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch for years, and when he left, finding a replacement proved to be a nearly impossible task.

While it's been around eight years since Scott held the managerial title, it seems seeing the words "regional manager" alongside "Scranton office" are still too tempting for fans to resist.

People promptly brought the position to the attention of Carell and Rainn Wilson, the actor who played Dwight K. Schrute, Michael's assistant who always dreamed of becoming manager.

Casey's Deputy Press Secretary, Andres Anzola, confirmed the Senator is in fact seeking a Scranton regional manager. So we'd like to offer him a valuable piece of advice during his search: Hire an assistant to the regional manager, as well.

Sadly, Sen. Casey tweeted to inform fans of the show he's not looking for an assistant to the regional manager. But hey, at least he used a Michael Scott GIF.

Despite rumors and cast reunions, it doesn't look like The Office is getting a revival any time soon. So shout out to Senator Casey for giving fans this opportunity to reminisce.
