Pennywise the pumpkin is haunting doorsteps because 'It' balloon pranks just weren't enough

Pennywise the clown is now Pennywise the pumpkin.

As It became one of the highest grossing horror movies, red balloons, a signature of villain Pennywise the clown, were popping up all over the place to spook the living hell out of us. As if that trendy prank wasn't enough, people are channeling Pennywise again — this time in the form of creepy jack-o'-lanterns.

Pennywise the clown, who infamously spends most of his days hanging around sewers tormenting children, has become Pennywise the pumpkin.
