It's rare to find a quality piece of Harry Potter fan art -- but when it's good, it's really good.

Reddit user duffmanszalotofthings decided to give his wife a very special gift for her wedding: a Harry Potter-inspired Pensieve. In the books, pensieves are used to hold important memories that the witches and wizards of that world can revisit whenever they want. So, duffmanszalotofthings decided to recreate the object for his wife.

Pensieves are magical objects. In order to first access the pensieve, every wizard needs a wand. So he made her one, and tied it up in beautiful brown paper packaging.

Instead of buying her a bowl, this magical husband went to a pottery class and made one himself. That's touching, but also, who does that?

He then filled tiny glass bottles with notes, recalling precious moments they had spent together.

He even added a magnet to the bottom of the bottles so they could be picked up with the magnet-tipped wand.

And then he -- oh god, we can't stop sobbing, just look at the photo.

The pensieve was of course delivered via (stuffed) owl.
