A Bollywood movie trailer dropped last afternoon. It features a friendly ghost, a young man forced into marriage rituals, a bittersweet love story, and some rustic Indian music.

Within a day, the trailer crossed 10 million views on Facebook and YouTube combined. And Indians can't stop raving about it.

'Phillauri' is a story set in the village of Phiallur in Punjab state in northwestern India. The film stars (and is also co-produced by) one of Bollywood's leading actors, Anushka Sharma, and Diljit Dosanjh, who debuted in last year's hit Udta Punjab — a film picked up by Netflix globally.

This is Sharma's second outing in film production. Her 2015 offering NH10 had charmed critics and audiences alike.

The official poster of Phillauri was revealed by her studio, Clean Slate Films.

Meanwhile, the buzz around the trailer is on fever pitch, ensuring #Phialluri trended on top throughout the day. The film's cast, their fan clubs as well as leading names from Bollywood added to the chatter.

Phillauri releases in India on March 24. Here's the trailer.
