Hurricane Matthew's path of destruction
Hurricane Matthew is currently offshore of Florida and slowly making its way along the coast as a Category 3 storm. With 2.5 million people evacuated and storm surges predicted as high as 7-to-11 feet, much of the coast is still bracing for Matthew to hit.
While it's difficult to know the extent of damage caused in Florida so far, the hurricane has already come and gone for Haiti, Cuba and the Bahamas. Hundreds of people have died in the Caribbean and massive amounts of flooding is making it difficult to get to those who are still in need of assistance.
