Watch Piers Morgan ruin Christmas

It's a Christmas gift to all.

There's nothing quite as enjoyable as watching bad TV person Piers Morgan embarrass himself in front of thousands of people on live TV.

Getting into the holiday spirit, Morgan attempted to help turn on the Christmas lights in Stockbridge, United Kingdom, on Friday using one of those cartoon-like dynamite plungers.

"They’re expecting Beatlemania style scenes so get there early,' Morgan said in a tweet. Yes, he compared his clout to The Bealtes.

Well, the lighting didn't go as planned, and it didn't look like anything even remotely like Beatlemania.

"Count after me," Morgan told the crowd, which immediately confused everyone in the crowd. After finally completing the difficult task of getting a a group of people to count down from five, Morgan pushed down the plunger, saying, "Let's go!"

Nothing happened, except for a good laugh from the crowd.

While we probably can't blame Morgan for the technical failure, it was definitely more entertaining than a lighting, and the internet enjoyed having a little fun at Morgan's expense.
