Hundreds of Pokémon fans gathered Sunday to watch in excitement as 50 giant Pikachu marched through the streets of Yokohama, Japan.
The Pokémon Company hosted the annual event, which aims to attract visitors to the city with a total of 1,000 Pikachu. Though the parade was not directly associated with the widely popular Pokémon Go app, many parade-goers came in hopes of catching more virtual Pokémon.
