Samsung launches pink gold versions of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Need more proof pink is in? A day after Apple launched a rose gold version of its MacBook, Samsung has announced its flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, will soon become available in pink gold.
You read that right: The color is not rose gold but pink gold, even though Samsung used the rose gold color moniker before, for example for its Gear S2 classic smartwatch. You can see what the new color looks like in the images above and below.

Now, we'd say the variations on the pink/rose/gold theme are simply what's trendy these days, but Samsung has some choice words to explain this particular color scheme. It provides a "sense of comfort," the company said in a blog post, and is intended to "soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication." So now you know.
The pink gold S7 and S7 Edge will become available in South Korea on April 20, and will arrive in select markets "soon."
The new addition brings to total choice of colors for Samsung's flagships to five, together with black onyx, gold platinum, white pearl and silver titanium.
