College essays may seem super daunting, but for this young woman, having some fun with it totally payed off.

Caroline Williams of Brentwood, Tennessee, found out in March that she was accepted into Yale University. This alone would be amazing news for just about anyone, but what made it even more amazing was when Caroline found out exactly why she was accepted.

Weeks later, the university's admissions team sent Caroline notes detailing how much they enjoyed her unique and relatable essay on her love of ordering Papa John's pizza.

The 200-words-or-less prompt asked Caroline to write about what she loves to do. While there's no doubt other applicants wrote about their extracurricular activities in the arts or athletics, Caroline took a different approach.

"...[O]ne thing I love to do is order pizza and have it delievered to my house," she wrote. "When the delivery person rings my doorbell, I instantly morph into one of Pavlov's dogs, salivating to the sound that signals the arrival of the cheesy, circular glory. It smells like celebration, as I love to rejoice a happy occasion by calling Papa John's for my favorite food."

And admissions found it refreshing and hilarious.

"As a fellow lover of pizza, I laughed out loud (then ordered pizza) after reading your application. Yale would be lucky to have you," one member of admissions wrote.

As excited as she was to receive this news, Caroline will not be attending the Ivy League university come fall. She has instead decided to go to Auburn University, because of the location, school spirit, and of course the Papa John's that's probably in the student center.

Her passion for pizza is truly inspiring.
