PlayStation 4 is finally getting external hard drive support
Playstation 4 disappointing you with its 500GB storage?
Sure, you could have upgraded your hard drive. Or, soon, you can shove your least-played games off to an external instead of banishing them to the cloud when you run out of space on your PS4.
The next update coming to the console will bring external hard drive support to the PlayStation 4. It's codenamed Sasuke, and is in beta as of today. You can connect an HDD that's up to 8TB in size.
Sony is also polishing up the dashboard's interface and notification system, adding 3D blu-ray VR support as well as letting you customize your dashboard with wallpapers, like the The Last Guardian look above.
